Background...
Benin is a West
African country led by President Yayi Boni who was
elected in 2006 to replace President Kerekou who had
previously ruled as a communist dictator but who
then, as a Christian, brought the country to
democracy. Benin is known to be
the birth place of Voodoo and people from all around
the world come to get satanic powers. Most of the
people in Benin live in poverty. They have very poor
medical facilities, and a very low wage.
The
Need...
The average person in Benin
will never see their 60th birthday,
illiteracy is widespread. The average income is £53
per year, and that is for the educated.
Witchcraft and slavery are
still widely practiced.
The
Vision..
The vision of Benin Christian
Support is to go out to these people bring with us a
message of HOPE. Going beyond the towns and out into
the villages, taking with us the resources that will
help make there lives better.
By working alongside the local
people, demonstrating God’s love through:

The
Commission...
In April 2005, I went on a
short term Mission to Benin, where God ministered
into my life in a very powerful way.
He then showed me the deep need
that is in Benin, He gave me a cry deep in my heart
to reach the hundreds of thousands of un-reached
people who live in Benin.
How You
Can Help...
There are many ways you can
help us firstly if you could please pray, then if
you want to send us a donation or you could set up a
standing order. Another way you could support us is
by becoming a friend of Benin Christian Support by
sending us £15 we will keep you with up to date
information about what we are doing by quarterly
news letters plus a membership card, which will give
you a discount on any African products we hope to
sell in the near future. You could fund raise on our
behalf to do this you would need to contact us by
email or letter telling us how you would want to do
this, on receiving this we would write back to you
with an answer. May be you feel you would like to be
more hands on, if you feel that you would like to

Prayer
Ministry...
There are many things that come
up in a week that we ask our prayer partners to pray
about, and as the work we do gets bigger so does the
prayer requests.
If you would like to be
involved this way I would ask that you email us with
your details and we will then put you on our email
list of prayer supporter’s.

your event we are prepared to travel within East
